Bio
Biography
I am an Assistant Professor in the Wadhwani School of Data Science & Artificial Intelligence at IIT Madras.
Prior to joining IIT Madras, I was an Assistant Research Scientist at Johns Hopkins University, working under the guidance of Prof. Rama Chellappa. I earned my Ph.D. from the Vision and AI Lab in the Department of Computational and Data Sciences at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), where I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. R. Venkatesh Babu.
Research Interests
My research focuses broadly on computer vision and visual intelligence, with specific interests in:
- Long Video Understanding & Video-Language Models
- VLM Compositional Reasoning
- Few-shot learning
- 3D Computer Vision & Computational Photography
